What inspires you?
my art practice
Art is my spiritual practice, a way to put images to the words I can’t find. I work primarily with collage and mixed media with images from dreams, metaphor, and poetry. Lately I’ve been obsessing over animating my collages because they seem to want to move.

Poetry + Inspiration
I read poetry every day. Well, almost every day. It is part of my practice. Alice Walker described poetry as “a place the loss must go…a place the gain must go.” It is for all the things we don’t know how to name.
